The prime focus of the SolarTech / CalSEIA Summit was collaboration. Participants worked together to define actions that will lead to reduced balance of system costs and cycle times for residential and commercial installations. The ultimate goals are to substantially accelerate the adoption of solar and to stimulate new markets and growth of jobs in the solar industry. Participants were guided through a dynamic framework, addressing issues critical to the solar industry across six breakout sessions, ranging from workforce readiness and equipment performance to financing and permitting processes. The main topics of the Summit were:
