501(C)3 - Clean Energy Fund Launch Final

On December 7th, 2009, SolarTech launched the company’s 501c(3), SolarTech Clean Energy Fund, and honored San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and McCalmont Engineering CEO Tom McCalmont for their continuous commitment and work to promote clean energy business, new technologies, and the jobs that come with them. A panel discussion about the importance and business application of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference was also discussed in this award ceremony.

SolarTech Permitting & Installation Symposium

Prepare for the Upturn: A Systems Approach to Solar PV Permitting & Installation

The SolarTech Permitting and Installation Symposium brought together leaders from solar photovoltaic (PV) system installers and integrators, decision makers and building department representatives, to discuss best practices for permitting and inspection processes.

SolarTech presented this Symposium with the collaborative leadership of the City of San Jose, the City of San Francisco’s Department of Environment, PG&E and the Department of Energy’s Solar America Board for Codes and Standards (SolarABCs).
